A recent study by the TT Club, one of the world's largest insurance underwriters for maritime and transportation concerns, showed that collisions due to human error are the cause of over 70 percent of equipment damage claims in terminal and related facilities.
SK is already working with specific ports to design a safety and service oriented architecture for their unique terminal environments. In doing so, the SK team is focusing on its "GSM2" and "SK Navigator" applications which provide a sophisticated, multi-applications operating system that incorporates the world's most advanced 3D anti-collision software along with advanced applications for guidance and operation of any terminal equipment. |
